Project Manager West Des Moines IA Join our clients team in the Business Operations area and lead the implementation of complex insurance and IT projects! Purpose:
- Lead programs with multiple, large-scale, highly complex, cross-functional projects aimed at achieving a single goal.
- Manage programs with significant risk, benefits, or visibility, impacting overall company operations.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direction for multiple related projects or programs, managing stakeholders, communications, and overall project progress.
- Ensure projects meet quality, time, resource, and budget expectations.
- Align program scope with strategic business objectives and recommend modifications to enhance effectiveness.
- Identify and oversee necessary resources to meet program objectives.
- Monitor project dependencies and incorporate constraints into the overall plan.
- Identify and resolve or mitigate risks and issues.
- Manage project budget and resource allocation.
- Ensure the use of project management tools.
- Mentor and coach less experienced Project Managers.
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience:
- 7+ years of IT Project Management experience required
- Previous experience in annuities or insurance preferred.

- Expert knowledge of project management life cycle, tools, and processes.

- Experience with technology development processes.
