We are seeking an experienced and certified Project Manager to lead and oversee all contractor work at the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) Office of Bombing Prevention (OBP). The Project Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless communication, coordination, and execution of strategy and policy tasks. - Act as the primary liaison for all contract-related activities, ensuring clear and efficient communication with the Contracting Officer and Contracting Officer's Representative (COR).
- Lead project teams, manage workflows, and maintain high standards of performance.
- Implement and manage cost control measures to ensure projects stay within budget.
- Develop and maintain detailed technical and financial reports to track project progress and present them to management.
- Conduct regular meetings with the contractor team and federal employees to review task plans, deliverables, and synchronize efforts.
- Participate in daily meetings with branch federal employees to align on project goals and activities.
- Manage events related to project activities, ensuring they are well-organized and achieve desired outcomes.
- Lead stakeholder engagement and outreach initiatives to foster strong relationships and ensure alignment with project goals.
- Be available to the COR via telephone between the hours of 0800 and 1700 EST, Monday through Friday.
- Have a workstation onsite to effectively interface with contractor employees, COR, and federal employees.
RequirementsRequired:
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
- Must hold a bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Must be a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) by the Project Management Institute and possess senior-level project management experience with a proven track record of successfully managing complex projects.
- Understand bomb prevention strategy and policy, as well as the governance and advisory structures for federal Counter-IED (C-IED), Counter-Weapons of Mass Destruction (CWMD), and bomb prevention programs.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently.
- Must be available to respond to technical issues and discussions within 2 hours during working hours.
- Ability to work independently and as a team lead/supervisor to maintain a good working environment.
Preferred:
- Master's Degree in a related field.
- Prior professional services or federal consulting experience.
- Experience with the unique needs of the Cybersecurity Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) Office of Bombing Prevention (OBP).
