DUTIES INCLUDE (but are not limited to):
- Client Relations Seek and/or select potential jobs/clients that fit within the profile of work/clients that Wallace Architects LLC wishes to pursue. Provide proposals to clients as requested.
- Consultation Services for Clients Help Client in site selection, funding sources, etc.
- City Coordination Services Assist Client with rezoning, platting, etc.; provide design compliance with building codes, zoning and ordinances; follow through with City on plan review and approval, and issuance of building permit(s) and occupancy permit(s).
- Application/Preliminary Design Services Coordinate preparation of site and building plan schematics with Project Coordinator, drafting and Administrative Assistants to complete the development of the schematic design application package. Include all pertinent information such as client request and program/funding requirements. Coordinate with the administrative assistant to develop any agency required application documents such as Architectural certifications per QAP requirements.Set design parameters for the project.
- Design Services Attend weekly or bi-weekly conference calls with clients as required throughout project.
- Consultant Services Obtain consultants as necessary and coordinate consultant agreements, meetings and schedules.
- Work with Owners/Developers and Administrative Assistant in preparation of Architectural contracts.
- Construction Document Services Coordinate preparation of the Construction Drawings and Specifications with the Client and Project Coordinator, working with the funding agency and City, as required. Review plans provided by the PC to ensure compliance with City requirements, client request, program/funding requirements and applicable codes. Maintain schedule and meet deadlines.
- Construction Administration Services Conduct and/or organize for Preconstruction conference, monthly site observations, punch list and final inspections, and warranty inspections (as applicable).Review/execute pay request, issue change orders, ASIs, Field Reports and other necessary documents, working with Project Coordinator and Administrative Assistant.
- Training Attend training related to building and accessibility codes, and industry related topics (technology, products, means and methods of construction, etc.). Provide a yearly training session with all PMs/PCs when requested.
