Texas A&M University's teaching site in Washington, D.C., is seeking a Project Manager, responsible for planning, executing and closing projects; ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. The successful candidate will have 3 or more years of related experience in project management, proven experience with a track record of successful project delivery, and experience managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Bush School of Government and Public Service, was founded in 1997, under President George H.W. Bush's philosophy that public service is a noble calling. Since then, the Bush School has continued to reflect that notion in curriculum, research, and student experience as the Bush School prepares students to become principled leaders in their fields and to reflect the value of public service throughout their careers. In August of 2020, Texas A&M University opened a teaching site in Washington, D.C., located just blocks from the White House. Our inaugural program features The Bush School of Government and Public Service, with plans for participation by other schools and colleges in the future.

Qualifications
Required Education & Experience
* Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or a related field.
* Three years of related experience
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
* Knowledge of and comfort & experience with project management principles (scope, cost, time), Gantt charts
* Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello, Monday.com, ClickUp).
* Knowledge of word and spreadsheet and presentation applications.
* Ability to work beyond normal office hours and/or work on weekends
* This position may require travel to Texas A&M University - College Station, Texas and allow alternate work location per TAMU guidelines
Preferred Qualifications
* PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent.
* More than three years of experience with project management principles (scope, cost, time), Gantt charts and project management software tools.
* More than three years of experience in office administration, project management/coordination, or marketing.
* Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
* Experience with social media and content creation.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint applications.
* Familiarity with digital marketing channels (SEO, PPC, social media).
* Awareness of marketing tools such as HubSpot, Marketo, Google Analytics,
* Experience working with creative teams and agencies.
* PMP or Agile certification is a plus.
* Experience as a Project Manager within a marketing, advertising, or communications team.
