The RoleAquarian Holdings is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to join its Operations Team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to deadlines and within budget, under the supervision of the Senior Vice President, Transformation. This includes coordinating with cross-functional teams, managing project scope, and ensuring stakeholder satisfaction. This position is five days a week in-office, located in New York City.Responsibilities:
- Drive project goals, scope, design, responsibilities, timelines, and actualization of strategic initiatives
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget management
- Track project progress, prepare regular status reports, and present updates to the leadership team
- Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and project specifications
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in project management
- Develop analytical models and insights to support strategy development
- Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact
- Help to build transformational program management capabilities at Aquarian
- Facilitate strategy development and decision-making with project and executive teams
- Establish and manage vendor relationships for a given project
- Interface with Aquarian counterparts and subsidiaries as necessary, communicating effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and manage expectations
Ideal profile and characteristics:
- Expertise in project/program management, including facilitating strategy and decision-making with senior team members at a major bank/asset manager
- Ideally has experience in building and evolving financial models and/or analyses of large datasets
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)
- Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Trello, Asana)
- PMP or equivalent certification is a plus
Required experience & skills:
- 5-7 years of experience in an operational role or as a consultant at a top-tier firm
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or a related field
- Proven track record of successfully owning and managing projects from initiation to implementation as a member of an operations team
- Experience working with and managing external vendors
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
Salary Range: 150k ($72.12hr)
