The Project Manager is responsible for managing Furniture Operations projects from beginning to end via planning, logistics coordination and execution. The Project Manager coordinates project details with the customer, sales, design, and installation teams ensuring all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the customer's satisfaction. Project Managers are expected to provide the ultimate customer experience and are responsible for regularly assessing and identifying process improvement opportunities.Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinates project details with sales, design, and installation teams; schedules pre-install meetings.
- Quotes and schedules installation work; validates orders, dates, and delivery schedules.
- Coordinates equipment and truck schedules for crew; communicates logistics at customers' site.
- Coordinates staff needed to execute projects; reviews job folders with Lead Installers.
- Visits job sites during each phase of project (quote, pre-install, install, and post install) assessing project needs, space / location and results.
- Monitors project changes and executes scope change fees as necessary.
- Leads post install walk through; processes and schedules post install punch list.
- Manages and maintains project data in system; enters product and/or service orders; collects and reports actual project hours and cost in system; close delivery and or/service tickets.
- Other duties as assigned.
Educational / Experience RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Project Management, Logistics or Construction Management with a minimum of 3 years' related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience; project management certification preferred; experience in project management and logistics coordination; experience leading projects through a variety of teams is preferred; experience reading and working with blue prints and design renderings.
