Project Manager - MS SHIFT : Job Details

As a Project Manager at MS Shift, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the delivery of key projects within our SaaS platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and meet customer and business expectations.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, highly organized, and experienced in managing software development and deployment projects in a SaaS environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Execution:

• Lead and manage end-to-end project delivery, including requirements gathering, timeline planning, resource allocation, and execution.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, defining milestones, deliverables, and timelines.
• Track project progress, ensure deadlines are met, and report regularly to senior leadership on project status, risks, and challenges.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Collaborate with product, engineering, and design teams to ensure alignment on project goals, priorities, and resource needs.
• Act as the primary point of contact between internal stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication and resolving any roadblocks.

Risk Management & Problem Solving:

• Identify potential risks to project timelines or scope early on and work proactively to mitigate those risks.
• Troubleshoot issues and manage any changes to the project scope or schedule

Customer & Stakeholder Engagement:

• Interface with customers and business stakeholders to gather requirements, prioritize features, and communicate progress.
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations.

Quality Assurance & Post-Launch Support:

• Collaborate with QA teams to ensure projects meet quality standards before launch.
• Oversee post-launch monitoring and gather feedback to ensure ongoing improvements.

Continuous Improvement:

• Drive process improvements and identify ways to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of project delivery.
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, tools, and methodologies.

Qualifications:

Experience:

• 3+ years of experience in project management, preferably in a SaaS, software, or technology-driven environment.
• Proven track record of managing software development, product launch, or IT infrastructure projects from initiation to delivery.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
• Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Trello, Monday.com).

Technical Knowledge (preferred):

• Familiarity with SaaS architecture and software development lifecycle.
• Basic understanding of web technologies (e.g., APIs, cloud services) is a plus.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• PMP, ScrumMaster, or Agile certification is a plus.
