Project Manager - V Group : Job Details

Scope of Work:

Our client requires the services of 1 Project Manager 2, hereafter referred to as Candidate(s), who meets the general qualifications of Project Manager 2, Project Management and the specifications outlined in this document for the Texas Health and Human Services Commission.

All work products resulting from the project shall be considered works made for hire and are the property of the Client and may include pre-selection requirements that potential Vendors (and their Candidates) submit to and satisfy criminal background checks as authorized by Texas law. Texas Health and Human Services Commission will pay no fees for interviews or discussions, which occur during the process of selecting a Candidate(s).

Project managers are the people in charge of a specific project or projects within a company. As the project manager, your job is to plan, budget, oversee and document all aspects of the specific project you are working on. Project managers might work by themselves or be in charge of a team to get the job done.

This Project Manager contractor position is part of the Administrative Applications MCS Waiver Salesforce Enhancements project team and will be working on the development and implementation of modifications and enhancements to the to Medicaid Chip Services Waiver enhancements in Salesforce. This position will perform the duties of project management including the implementation of standard project management industry practices for Agile teams. Understands the PMI framework as well as how to establish a project organization and methodology within Agile (Scrum) organizations. Understands business and technical objectives of a project and works closely with multiple key project stakeholders. Communicates to clients and IT teams. Creates project charters, work plans, and other related project artifacts, as necessary. Provides technical support both during work hours and on-call, as necessary. 7 Required Project Management Experience for large-scale Enterprise Implementations

7 Required Any state govt experience or Similar Federal/State Project Management Experience

5 Preferred State of Texas Project Delivery Framework Experience

4 Preferred PMP Certification

3 Preferred Agile (Scrum) Experience

3 Preferred ACP/Scrum Master certification

1 Preferred State Procurement and Contracting Experience

1 Preferred Jira Experience

1 Preferred Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tool experience
