Location: Niles, IL

Employment Type: Full-Time

Salary Range: $80,000 – $105,000 (commensurate with experience)

We are seeking a Project Manager with a strong background in printing and packaging manufacturing to lead complex, custom projects from concept to completion. This is a technical, hands-on role that requires collaboration across multiple departments, exceptional organizational skills, and a proactive, problem-solving mindset. What You'll Do:

  • Oversee all phases of project lifecycles, including planning, pricing, budgeting, timelines, and material purchasing.
  • Work closely with internal teams (pre-press, press, production, finishing) to ensure projects run smoothly and meet client expectations.
  • Spend ~30% of your time on the manufacturing floor, troubleshooting issues and ensuring seamless operations.
  • Collaborate with clients, account services, and sales teams to maintain cohesive communication and deliver results.
  • Manage finishing processes such as die-cutting, foil stamping, and UV coating.
  • Handle documentation, proof reviews, and shipping logistics.

What We're Looking For:

  • Must-Haves:
  • 3–5+ years of project management experience in printing/packaging manufacturing.
  • Deep understanding of traditional lithographic and offset printing processes.
  • Familiarity with custom packaging and substrates like SBS, board stock, and paperboard.
  • Proven experience managing complex, high-end packaging projects.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication abilities for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Nice-to-Haves:
  • Bachelor's degree in Printing, Packaging, Graphic Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience with luxury brands and high-end custom packaging.
  • Knowledge of Monarch software.
