Overview: One of our higher education clients in the Salt Lake City area is seeking a Sr. Project Manager to oversee a new domain. This role involves conducting discovery, gathering requirements from business stakeholders and academic leaders, and developing realistic project plans. The Project Manager will work closely with departmental leadership to keep all relevant parties informed about project status, including milestones, risks, and any issues that could impact project schedules. Additionally, this individual may need to support other programs as required.

Must-Haves:

  • 6-8+ years of experience in Project Management.
  • Hands-on experience with projects involving multiple layers of compliance or regulatory requirements.
  • Proven track record of managing complex, large-scale projects with cross-functional teams across an enterprise.
  • Experience with data management teams or software development teams and data awareness.
  • Proven ability to work and present effectively to high-level stakeholders, including C-Suite, VPs, and SVPs.
  • Expertise in managing all phases of projects (initiating, planning, executing, monitoring/controlling, and closing).
  • Experience in reporting risks, issues, changes affecting project schedules, scope and budget, and milestone achievements.
  • Proficiency in using management tools and platforms, such as Smartsheet, MS Excel, Lucidchart, MS Visio, and MS PowerPoint (or similar tools).
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate and excel in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
  • High energy and experience in environments with ambiguity and change.
  • PMP certification required.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
