Lead Transportation Project Manager Location: Indianapolis, IN Compensation: $120,000 to $160,000 (Depending on Experience) Position Overview Our client is looking for an experienced Transportation Team Lead to join their Indianapolis, IN office, which serves as their corporate headquarters. This leadership role will guide a dedicated team on a range of transportation engineering projects and is ideal for a Project Manager with a passion for growth and development. About the Team The Indianapolis office is home to the largest Transportation, Water Resources, and Structural teams, serving city, county, and DOT clients. With projects that span local, state, and federal highway work, this team combines expertise and a commitment to quality, providing employees with a stimulating environment for professional growth. Additionally, the Noblesville office offers a convenient alternative location northeast of Indianapolis. Responsibilities Lead and oversee a team focused on transportation projects, including highways and specialty transportation work. Manage project delivery, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Build and maintain client relationships, actively contributing to the growth of the transportation project portfolio. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective project coordination and communication. Drive innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges, fostering collaboration and professional judgment. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Indiana. 10+ years' experience in transportation infrastructure project design. 5+ years' experience managing projects and leading teams.
