Job Description :
Essential Job Functions (Fundamental Job Duties):
  • Aid Sales and Proposals to assure accuracy and timeliness of quoted concepts and costs
  • Ability to identify and manage areas of risk in proposals
  • Ability to concept, write, and quote customer proposal change requests
  • Coordinate with engineering, purchasing, production, and quality teams to ensure seamless project execution
  • Manage key project milestones and critical path schedules to ensure timely equipment delivery
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Maintain all project schedules to assure that the progress of the projects meet customer needs
  • Act as the primary point of contact between customers and internal teams to provide regular project updates and manage expectations
  • Participate in weekly meetings with project team members to discuss project progress
  • Participate in weekly master schedule meeting with Department Management and Operations
  • Ability to work closely with Mechanical Engineers, Control Engineers, Manufacturing, and Mechanical/Electrical Techs/Assemblers during all project phases
  • Manage project scope changes and evaluate their impact on resources, budget, and timelines
  • Track project expenditures and provide regular updates to leadership
  • Intermittent travel to customer's sites domestic and international
  • Ability to write periodic customer and company reports
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Aid Field Service as required
Education: What is the minimum education level necessary to complete the essential functions of the position?
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Mechanical/ Electro Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
Experience: What is the minimum experience necessary to complete the essential functions of the position?
  • Three to five years in a manufacturing/machine design environment preferred
Mandatory Qualification Requirements: What are the mandatory qualification requirements for the position?
  • Ability to work with people in a team environment and to communicate effectively with people at all levels is required
  • Good critical thinking and problem-solving skills is a must
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Non-mandatory Qualification Requirements: Not absolutely required but will enhance applicant/employee chances for success.
  • Possess knowledge of/training in; Cost Effective Manufacturing Methods, Fixture Design and Application, Geometric Tolerancing, Manufacturing Processes/Methods, Stress & Performance Calculations, Design for Mfg/Assembly, F.M.E.A. (Design & Process), Risk Assessments
