About the Role:

As a Project Manager, you would be responsible for the overall development and execution of current or new projects across various value streams.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Project activation: build, manage and coordinate the execution of one primary ongoing project related to the creation of digital marketplace capabilities.
  • Project management: maintain and react to adjustments in budget, schedule, quality, and scope as we continue to develop and refine our business strategy in parallel to the project,
  • Methods & processes: support our cross-functional teams by bringing integrated and effective project management methods to support alignment and execution
  • Performance reporting: Aggregate, report and advise on project performance across the project, which may include more than one cascading deployment (in various phases) depending on the stage of our plan
  • Operational readiness: learn, adapt and advise on upcoming needs for our cross-functional teams that may span beyond the current phase of the project, helping to improve overall org maturity in support of our growth
  • Future growth: Grow into opportunities across new applications
  • Travel: Expect to spend less than 15% on-site at any one of our national locations to facilitate working sessions, learn our business and monitor progress
  • Office & flexibility: Flexible work arrangements can be discussed. Ideal location is in the Lafayette or Indianapolis area, however remote options are available for the right candidate
  • Other duties as assigned

Let's Talk About Your Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience in some combination of organizational development (joint ventures, mergers, or acquisitions) is highly preferred
  • 1+ years of direct project management experience using standard processes and methods; PMP is highly preferred
  • Exposure to large scale digital project launches
  • Experience in managing multiple projects at the same time, or a large program is desired; especially with cross-functional teams of 8 or more people that are being held accountable for activities and milestones
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Experience in some combination of distribution, operations, engineering, or manufacturing -- with some technology experience
  • Ability to manage, react and triage in a fast-paced work environment with applying learnings along the way
  • Desire to learn fast and grow -- the ideal candidate will likely not come 100% equipped with skills, but should certainly have the desire to expand their capabilities, build structure and potentially grow further into business leadership
