Project Manager - STAND 8 Technology Consulting : Job Details

STAND 8 provides end to end IT solutions to enterprise partners across the United States and with offices in Los Angeles, New York, New Jersey, Atlanta, and more including internationally in Mexico and India. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial for ensuring the successful delivery of strategic projects through effective coordination, execution, and control. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to manage complex projects across various methodologies, drive alignment with organizational goals, and foster collaboration among stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee multiple projects, ensuring alignment with company objectives, timelines, and budgets.
• Utilize Agile, Waterfall, Iterative, or Hybrid methodologies to deliver high-quality results.
• Define project scope, objectives, and success criteria while maintaining strong project controls.
• Foster collaboration across internal teams, business stakeholders, and third-party contractors or consultants.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
• Communicate project progress, risks, and outcomes effectively through regular status reports.
• Drive vendor selection and manage Statements of Work (SOW) activities as required.
• Support Product Owners in shaping product roadmaps and aligning deliverables with business priorities.
• Manage resource allocation, budget tracking, and stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Expertise in project management methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, Iterative, and Hybrid approaches.
• Strong experience managing technology projects and agile development processes.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to motivate and influence teams.
• Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Clarity, Wrike, or Rally.
• Basic technical understanding of digital platforms, cloud applications, APIs, and web services.
• Competency in Microsoft applications, including Visio, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
• Proven ability to manage conflicts, contain project scope, and deliver successful project outcomes.

Education & Certifications

• Required: BA/BS in Business, Project Management, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Preferred: PMP, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), and/or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certifications.

Additional Details The base range for this contract position is $47 - $57/per hour, depending on experience. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
