BHS Robotics is seeking a Robotics Automation Project Manager to join our growing team in Hanover Park, IL! This is an on-site position requiring up to 10% travel. SUMMARY: Manages specific projects from initiation to completion. Coordinates resources, schedules, and budgets to ensure project success. Monitors progress and addresses any issues that arise during the project lifecycle. This is an onsite position and requires up to 10% travel. RESPONSIBILITIES: Project Planning and Execution: - Develop and execute project plans, timelines, and budgets. - Identify and allocate necessary resources for project success. Team Leadership: - Lead and direct project teams to ensure timely completion of deliverables. - Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among team members. Budget and Cost Management: - Monitor and manage project budgets to ensure alignment with financial goals. - Identify cost-saving opportunities and address budget discrepancies. Risk Management and Issue Resolution: - Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies. - Address and resolve issues promptly to minimize project disruptions. Performance Monitoring: - Track project progress against objectives and deliverables. - Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders. Support and Collaboration: - Serve as a backup for other project managers as needed. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives. Other Duties: - Perform other related duties as assigned. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Bachelors degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field. - Minimum of 5 years of industry experience with at least 2 years in a project management role. - Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, Agile). - Proficiency in project planning and scheduling tools. - Excellent knowledge of risk management and issue resolution techniques. - Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and project management software. - Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana). - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. - Ability to work onsite and travel up to 10% as required. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: - Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer or attending meetings. - Occasional standing, walking, and moving around the office or project site. - Capability to lift and carry light to moderate loads (e.g., laptops, documents, and presentation materials) up to 20 lbs. - Occasional travel, including walking through industrial or manufacturing facilities. - Fine motor skills for typing, using project management tools, and handling documents. - Visual acuity for reviewing detailed plans, budgets, and technical documents. - Hearing ability sufficient for virtual and in-person meetings in a potentially noisy environment (e.g., manufacturing areas).
