Great client in York County, PA seeking an experienced Project Manager. Seeking candidate with experience handling custom projects in machining and automation.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution:
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.
Stakeholder Communication:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and addressing concerns.
- Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and subcontractors to align on project goals and milestones.
Technical Oversight:
- Ensure that industrial automation systems meet design specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with engineering teams to resolve technical challenges during project implementation.
Budget Management:
- Monitor project expenses and ensure alignment with approved budgets.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Automation, Project Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years experience managing industrial automation projects.
Skills:
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet).
- Familiarity with PLCs, SCADA, robotics, and related industrial automation technologies. (PREFRERRED)
- Strong leadership and team coordination abilities.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Certifications (Preferred):
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Six Sigma or Lean certifications.
