Key Skills and Requirements:
Project Management Expertise:
- 7+ years managing projects, especially in banking or financial services.
- Proficient with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- PMP or PMI-ACP credential required—this shows a high level of formal training and recognition in the field.
Technical Understanding:
- Solid knowledge of software development and system integration projects.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical teams, including developers and resource managers.
Tools and Software:
- Familiarity with Confluence, Jira, ServiceNow, and Microsoft Office is crucial for day-to-day operations and documentation.
Project Execution and Financial Oversight:
- You'll need to manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively. Experience with reporting project financials is a plus.
Stakeholder and Vendor Management:
- Strong communication skills for stakeholder management and keeping them in the loop.
- Experience working with third-party vendors, including requirement specifications and delivery management.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Planning and Documentation: Creating detailed project plans, test plans, and cost/resource management documents.
- Collaboration: Working closely with both business and technical teams to align on goals, schedules, and resource allocation.
- Governance & Control: Adhering to governance practices such as RACI, traceability matrices, and toll gate reviews.
