TITLE: Project Manager

Comp: Up to $80,000

Location: Pendleton, IN

Our client is seeking immediate assistance in identifying a candidate for a Project Manager direct hire position in Pendleton, IN

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for the entire estimating process
• Understands shop capabilities, workload, and lead-time to ensure on-time deliveries
• Effectively estimate shop hours by work centers for all potential manufacturing and entering data into ERP
• Present quotes and estimates to the appropriate member of the Sales Team
• Facilitate meetings with customers Project Managers via Teams app virtual, or in-person for project updates, communicated with customers about problems with projects
• Coordinated with the engineering team
• Prepared RFQs, used customer provided BOMs for quote process, including ordering commercial items and specifying material type used on machined details, verified any ASME specifications in print package, and presented finished quote to customers for approval and timing. Upon receipt of customer PO, loaded updated print package, BOMs, and facilitated job release meeting for the new project.
• Conducting reviews during the manufacturing cycle to identify issues and develop work around plan
• Plan projects, manage budget, evaluate project performance, communicate with stakeholders

Must have:

• 3-5+ years of experience estimating for a similar industry
• Experience with ERP Systems and ability to utilize a computer/phone system
• Ability to read and understand prints with little to no assistance
• Previous experience managing projects from start/concept to completion
• Read prints, understanding of GD&T
• Machining background
• Previous experience interacting w/ customers

TERMS: This is a direct hire position that pays up to $80,000/yr. This company does have great benefits including 401K match, health, dental, and vision insurance
