Project Manager - Drax : Job Details

Project ManagerFull-time, Permanent On-site Location: Aliceville, AL

As Project Manager at Drax, you will beresponsible for planning, executing, and delivering capital projects aimed atimproving safety, reliability, and efficiency across the Southern Pelletoperations within the specified budget and timeline. The role requires strongoperational experience and the ability to collaborate with the operations andtechnical teams to identify opportunities for integration with the plant andimplement necessary modifications to minimize disruptions to operations.

Key Responsibilities:

As Project Manager – your main responsibilities will include, but not belimited to:

• Championexcellent project HSE performance
• Buildand maintain strong relationships with Pellet Mill Management teams,technical teams, vendors, sub-contractors and supporting teams across theorganization
• Managethe execution of engineering projects at the designated pellet milloperations with accountability for safety, cost control, schedule, andquality
• Supervisecontractor compliance with safety policies and regulations.
• Coordinateplant commissioning and start-up activities.
• Developand manage project budgets, track progress, and manage inventory.
• Ensureprojects are completed within costing guidelines and provide technicalguidance to site management teams.
• Successfullydeliver projects within standards and communicate project progressregularly.

About you

• You'll possess the following skills, abilities, and experience:
• Proactivesafety leader with a strong technical or business degree and extensiveexperience in engineering or project management.
• Experiencein industrial manufacturing operations. Wood pellet manufacturingexperience is desirable.
• Musthave experience in equipment design, project management, constructionsafety and operations.
• Knowledgeof technical language, subcontractor and supplier management,and environmental and construction permit requirements is necessary.
• Strongleadership, organizational, and administrative skills are a must.
• Understandingof financial processes and the ability to drive results across multiplefunctions are required.
