Project Manager- Construction

- Take a hands-on leadership role where you set the team up for success, coordinate construction projects, and ensure work is completed efficiently and up to code.
- Attend bid walkthroughs with clients and stakeholders to assess project requirements.
- Communicate schedules and objectives to team members, ensuring all tools, materials, and equipment are ready for each job.
- Be on-site to set up the team and oversee the proper execution of lead abatement procedures.
- Work closely with clients, inspectors, and regulatory bodies to coordinate inspections, permits, and final approvals.
- Manage project documentation, including schedules, work progress, and inspections, while ensuring permit pickup and payment compliance with local codes.
- Notify appropriate authorities for final walkthroughs and approval as soon as the work is complete.
- Work full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM. Most projects are in Lancaster, with occasional jobs in York. Time spent in the office and on-site.

Our Ideal Project Manager:
- Experienced: Has 3-5 years of management experience, preferably in construction, environmental health, or a related field. General construction knowledge is needed but will provide on-the-job training on lead compliance. Experience in lead abatement or environmental health is a plus.
- Certification: Must complete a four-day Lead Abatement Supervisor training (employer-paid) and pass the exam.
- Strong Leader: Manages a team effectively, sets expectations clearly, and ensures projects run smoothly.
- Clear Communicator: Keeps clients, team members, and regulatory bodies informed to maintain efficiency and transparency.
- Organized Problem-solver: Handles multiple projects, anticipates challenges, and keeps work on track.
- Attention to Detail: Maintains accurate documentation, inspections, and scheduling.
- Safety Awareness: Ensures compliance with lead-safe regulations and enforces safety protocols.
- Computer Savvy: Uses scheduling software, shared drives, and digital tools for project management.
