Project Manager - Insight Global : Job Details

Manage various complex IT projects over $250,000 which require the implementation of State and Federal initiatives and legislative mandates related to Health, Environment, and Administration areas, including the Kansas Health and Environment Laboratory. Monitor execution of plans for system implementation, security, quality assurance, change management, risk assessment, acceptance testing or system conversion of new or modified information systems. Prepare action lists, update system plans, and estimate costs of conformance. Prepare reports and track progress of projects to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget as well as ensuring compliance of IT projects with state policies, guidelines, and objectives. This includes providing IT project oversight to agency management, preparing and producing required management reports, reporting all direct and indirect costs, making project presentations, defining project milestones, tracking project progress and coordinating and providing KITO reporting as defined by law. Monitor performance of third-party providers for conformance to contract requirements and initiate corrective action when services are inadequate. Coordinates the work of project staff working on all projects. Serve as the system and training administrator for the KnowBe4 software.
