About the Role
A well-established construction management and general contracting firm is seeking a Project Manager to oversee public agency construction projects in New York City. This role involves managing all aspects of construction projects for public sector clients, ensuring successful execution from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage public agency construction projects, ensuring on-time and on-budget completion
- Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution
- Coordinate with public agencies, architects, engineers, and subcontractors
- Ensure compliance with agency regulations, safety requirements, and quality standards
- Lead and mentor project teams to drive performance and efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of project management experience in construction, preferably with public agency projects
- Strong understanding of public agency regulations, contracts, and procedures
- Experience with construction scheduling software (Primavera P6, Procore, etc.)
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
