Position Overview
The Project Manager is responsible for leading the implementation and training projects for AIMS Software. This role involves managing the full project lifecycle from planning to execution, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and meeting customer expectations. As the primary point of contact for customers, the Project Manager works closely with both internal teams and clients to manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business goals. The role is key in identifying opportunities to improve processes and drive efficiencies across software, service, and operations.
This position requires a proactive individual with a proven track record in managing multiple projects, meeting deadlines, and exceeding client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple cross-functional projects, ensuring alignment with company objectives and client requirements.
Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives, ensuring customer and internal team alignment.
Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
Coordinate project activities, including daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospective meetings, ensuring continuous progress and quality.
Act as the main point of contact for customers, providing timely updates and resolving issues that may impact project delivery.
Monitor and manage project progress against timelines and budgets, proactively addressing any delays, resource gaps, or issues.
Work closely with the Product Manager to prioritize and handle new requests, backlogs, and product updates.
Ensure clear communication of project goals, requirements, and progress across all stakeholders.
Lead and document project meetings, capturing key decisions, action items, and next steps.
Identify risks early, develop mitigation plans, and communicate potential impacts to stakeholders.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor's degree in Business, or related field, or 3-5 years of relevant experience in project management.
Strong experience in managing complex projects using established project management methodologies and tools.
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Smartsheet.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage customer relationships effectively.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
Project Management Certification (PMP or similar).
ScrumMaster Certification.
Experience with CMMS software is a plus.
