Job Title: Project Manager - Strategy and Cross-Functional Projects
Location: Manlius, New York
Reports To: Chief Information Officer (CIO)

Position Summary
The Project Manager will report directly to the CIO and work collaboratively across all departments to plan, execute, and deliver key projects. The role requires experience in Lean and Agile methodologies to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and aligned with strategic objectives. This individual will act as a change agent, promoting best practices and ensuring consistent project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional projects aligned with the company's 2025 Strategy, ensuring on-time delivery and alignment with strategic goals.
- Develop project plans, define scope, set objectives, and manage resources effectively across departments.
- Facilitate collaboration between teams using diverse methodologies
- Drive the adoption of Lean principles to enhance operational efficiency and project outcomes.
- Apply Agile methodologies where appropriate to improve flexibility, responsiveness, and team collaboration.
- Monitor project performance, track KPIs, and report progress to the CIO and executive leadership.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with department heads to ensure alignment and support for project initiatives.
- Identify risks and proactively develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
- Serve as a coach and mentor to teams, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and effective project management practices.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree and certificates in Scrum.
- Experience:
- 3+ years of project management experience in a manufacturing, retail, or similar environment.
- Proven experience leading cross-functional projects with diverse methodologies
- Hands-on experience with Scrum and Kanban is essential.
- Familiarity with Strategy Deployment (Hoshin Kanri) is a strong plus.
- Certifications:
- PSM or PSPO required.
- Lean Six Sigma certifications are highly desirable.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and align diverse teams.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present to executive leadership.
- Proficiency in project management tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
