Position OverviewWe are seeking a Job Captain/Project Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations and activities for client projects. This role involves managing project scope, schedules, budgets, and staff assignments to ensure quality, profitability, and timeliness. The ideal candidate will foster a collaborative team environment and maintain strong client relationships by identifying and addressing their needs and concerns.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with Business Directors or Regional Partners to define project scope and goals.Prepare manpower requirements, schedules, budgets, and fee projections.Lead and coordinate all project phases, including schematic design, design development, and contract documents.Conduct code searches and maintain project records, including budgets and correspondence.Guide and oversee project staff, ensuring accuracy and adherence to schedules and budgets.Communicate openly with clients to address concerns and enhance relationships.Participate in zoning and public hearings as well as construction walk-throughs.Promote the firm within the business community to attract new clients and projects.Assist with proposal preparation and coordinate with external consultants as needed.QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Planning, Design, Engineering, or related field preferred.Experience:With a degree: 3-5 years assisting with all project phases.Without a degree: 5-10 years managing projects from start to finish.Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.Strong computer proficiency, including AutoCAD and Revit.Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain a focus on details.Preferred SkillsExperience in single-family housing design is highly desirable.Knowledge of current housing market trends and construction methods.Additional InformationWork Environment: Hybrid, with 1 day/week required in the office.Travel: None required.Background Check: Yes.Location: Sacramento, CA (95670)Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Hybrid: 1 day/week in-office)Term: 6-month temp-to-direct, with direct hire as an option if necessaryPay Rate: $36.06-$48.08/hour ($75,000-$100,000/year)If you are interested in learning more about this opportunity, please contact Jaie Rogers at [email protected] or call 678-###-####.
