Project Manager - Lockheed Martin : Job Details

The Operations Systems and Modeling Team is seeking an experienced and skilled Project Manager to lead and manage Operations Business Transformation projects from initiation to closure. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and controlling projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The Project Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and sponsors to ensure project goals and objectives are met. The initial project will be leading cross-functional and cross-site teams to develop a OneAero deployment plan for Johnstown and Pinellas sites and successfully executing them. This is a crucial first step in aligning Aero prior to adoption of 1LMX common MES and common ERP. Key Responsibilities: Develop and manage project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation Coordinate and lead cross-functional teams, including internal stakeholders, vendors, and contractors Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues Develop and manage project budgets, including tracking and reporting expenses Coordinate and facilitate project meetings, including status updates, progress reviews, and issue resolution Communicate project status, progress, and issues to stakeholders, including project sponsors, team members, and external partners Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards Whats In It For You: We offer flexible work schedules to comprehensive benefits investing in your future and security, Learn more about Lockheed Martins comprehensive benefits package here. Minimum 7 years of experience in project management, preferably in a similar industry Experience working with cross-functional teams Exceptional organizational, planning, and time management skills to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously Bachelors degree from an accredited college Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships with peers, stakeholders, and customers Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills Proven track record of successfully managing projects from initiation to closure Strong knowledge of project management principles, methods, and techniques Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Experience as a CAM or with Earned Value Management
