JOB SUMMARY Working closely with the Program Management Team, the Project Manager will have an immediate impact on productivity, streamlining strategic initiatives, managing specific projects, and communicating objectives between departments by developing presentations, reports, and project plans generating purchase requisitions; coordinating communication; and scheduling meetings. The Project Manager will navigate and influence across matrixed resources, this may include engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and quality. They will identify potential risks and reports issues to the Senior Program Manager and Director of Programs to ensure projects are driven to closure. - Coordinate and manage business transformation and process improvement projects.
- Develop, document, and improve processes. Develop Master Scheduler process and tasks.
- Management pilot processes to create stability and to transition responsibility to functional owners.
- Develop and/or manage KPI's at all levels of the organization.
- Create presentations, reports, and manage data in SharePoint.
- Oversee strategic initiatives from development through execution in coordination with the Program Management team.
- Create and Manage Project Charters & Project Plans, manage and control changes, manage project schedules with defined activities, milestones, goals, and performance reporting.
- Identify and manage project risk, perform quantitative analysis, abatement and tracking of risk reduction.
- Assist Program Management team in decision-making, project management, and initiative implementation.
- Perform array of tasks from facilitating meetings and managing calendars, generating correspondence, and maintaining files, planning, and support meetings.
- Collect, consolidate, and maintain department level KPI's.
- Create weekly and monthly reporting documents for site and senior leadership.
- Ad hoc projects as assigned.
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS - Education, Knowledge, and ExperienceEducation:
- A Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, Industrial or Process engineering or similar technical degree is required.
Experience:
- Operations, Planning or Supply Chain management is required
- Project Management/Program Management experience preferred.
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Exceptionally skilled in Microsoft Office Suite products specifically PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Outstanding project management skills, ability to manage operational cadence of multiple complex global projects
- Strong experience in working in a complex environment
- Strong experience in influencing skills in a matrix organization
- Strong collaboration skills are required
- Ability to adjust plans and priorities in response to changes in strategic direction
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Excellent PowerPoint slide creation, consultant quality
- Highly skilled at excel with the ability to perform analytics
- Experience and highly skilled in interacting with and influencing senior level leaders to establish trust and credibility
- Ability to drive, manage and bring projects to closure
