French & Parrello Associates is currently seeking a dynamic individual to fill the role of Project Manager in our Inspection and Material Testing Group. This key position involves overseeing construction materials laboratory testing, managing special inspections, and coordinating project activities.   • Supervise and perform construction materials laboratory testing, ensuring accuracy and adherence to standards.
  • Oversee special inspectors and construction materials testing technicians in the field to assure FPA is maintaining the highest level of quality.
  • Collaborate with project engineers and other team members to manage inspection and testing projects effectively.
  • Develop proposals and foster business relationships to support our growth initiatives.
  • Liaise with clients and contractors to ensure clear communication and successful project outcomes.
  • Mentor technician and engineer level staff in their career growth.
What We Are Looking ForRequired Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of (15) years of experience in construction materials testing.
  • NJDCA certifications, ACI certifications, ICC certifications, or equivalent.
  • EIT and/or PE license preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Dependable and committed to delivering high-quality work.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask effectively and work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrates honesty, integrity, and professionalism in all interactions.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
  • Capable of light to moderate physical work related to testing and inspection.
  • Skilled in diagnosing issues and providing innovative solutions.
