MSA has an opportunity for a full time Project Manager - Transportation. The position can be based in any of the following Wisconsin offices: Appleton, Baraboo, Beaver Dam, Kiel, Madison, Marshfield, Milwaukee, Rhinelander, Rice Lake as well as Duluth, MN. The location of this position, including a remote working option, is flexible based upon experience. Responsibilities:
The work you will do
- Project management including project planning, scoping, budgeting and QA/QC
- Client relations including virtual or applicable in person meetings with existing and new clients
- Design of transportation infrastructure projects
- Preparation of details, specifications, and bidding documents
- Preparation of technical reports and regulatory permits for projects
- Review and respond to proposals for projects with assistance from MSA team members
- Assist with mentoring junior staff
- Construction observation
Qualifications:
What you bring Skills & Knowledge / Education & Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering required
- Minimum of 10 years of mobility/transportation engineering experience is required
- PE license required (WI PE preferred)
- WisDOT project experience preferred
- Previous client liaison and project management experience or a desire to step into that role is required
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Desire to work in a consulting environment
- We are looking for a seller/doer that is self-motivated with a desire to be hands on
