Job Description:Position: Project Manager Reports to: PM Manager Team LeadSUMMARYResponsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of specific projects. Will be responsible for interfacing with the site's customers while working closely with Quality and MarketingJob Duties
- Lead the planning and implementation of projects.
- Follow the NPI work process and participate in the definition of project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Define the project tasks and resource requirements.
- Develop full-scale project plans.
- Assemble and coordinate with other project staff.
- Manage project budget.
- Manage project resource allocation.
- Plan and schedule project timelines.
- Track project deliverables using appropriate tools.
- Quality assurance.
- Constantly monitor and report on the progress of the project to all relevant colleagues.
- Present reports defining project progress, problems, and solutions.
- Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.
- Project evaluations and assessment of results.
- Work with the relevant functions at corp to ensure meeting the requirements of the project under his responsibility
Education and Experience
- Engineer Diploma with accreditation from the ASQ an advantage
- 3-5 year experience as a project manager or QA engineer Preferably as an automotive supplier
- Write routine reports and correspondence and communicate effectively with suppliers, customers, and Arkal team members.
- Read and interpret documents such as APQP procedures and Arkal's manuals.
- Able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Advantages:
- At least five years of Experience in the Automotive Industry including a good knowledge of the automotive standards such as ISO/TS 16949.
Language Skills
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business requirements, , technical procedures, and regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of customers, suppliers, managers and employees.
Reasoning Ability
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variable in situations where only a limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills
- CAD
- FEA
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Knowledge of Mold Flow/Cooling Analysis an advantage

- Knowledge of ISO/TS 16949:2002
