PSI Pax, Inc has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Scheduler with comprehensive knowledge of DoD/Navy cost, schedule, performance, and risk processes and experience to support our customers located in Patuxent River, MD and St. Inigoes, MD.
Duties and Responsibilities: - Analyze and coordinate project schedules, timelines, procurement, staffing, and budgets.
- Interactively collaborate with Government Project Leads (GPLs) and Integrated Product Team (IPT) technical delivery leads to discuss schedule requirements and provide plans, developments, updates, and analysis of various integrated schedules.
- Our professionals interact with program and project personnel to collectively analyze program data, project risks, costs, schedule, and resource variances to inform the development of various project artifacts (e.g., Project Cost Reports, Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), Earned Value Management (EVM) measurements).
- Build and develop, detail plan, or refine Integrated Government Schedules (IGS) utilizing various program and project documentation and team input.
- Review and evaluate project requirements such as Statements of Work (SOW), industry Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), and Integrated Master Plans (IMP) and coordinates the scale of need for program or project schedules with relevant information.
- Perform more complex analytical and evaluative work requiring a comprehensive knowledge of the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) and how to tailor processes and tools for technical projects.
- Facilitate meetings in support of schedule processes, which include various GPLs, IPTs, and stakeholders.
- Track program and project status and schedules routinely utilizing various forms of communication available (MS Teams, in-person, email, and phone).
- Ability to identify, evaluate, and present driving and critical path tasking to project stakeholders.
- Analyze schedule data related to the program, project, or process at hand utilizing MS Project.
- Format and communicate schedule information and data using MS Office applications.
- Support NAVAIR programs and projects throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications: - At least ten (10) years relevant experience with DoD/Navy program/project management, Government technical management, or industry management experience. Of the required 10 years of experience, at least five years of supervisory experience is required.
- Secret Clearance. Candidate selected will be subject to a government background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
- MS Office Suite proficiency, specifically MS Project.
Education Requirements - Master's degree in business or a business discipline.
- Bachelor's degree in business or a business discipline plus four (4) years of additional work experience related to the applicable job functions may be substituted for a master's degree.
