DACK Consulting Solutions, LLC, a reputable and growing Construction Consulting/Management firm, is seeking a dedicated Construction Scheduler to join our team. The ideal candidate should thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess extensive experience in developing and maintaining detailed project schedules. As a Scheduler, you will work on exciting projects alongside seasoned professionals and play a critical role in ensuring project success.

Job Summary:

The Scheduler will be responsible for developing and maintaining comprehensive project schedules, encompassing design, procurement, construction, close-out, equipment installation, and commissioning activities. This role requires a solid understanding of engineering, procurement, and construction terminology, as well as the ability to create and analyze critical path logic networks and bar charts. The Scheduler will collaborate with project teams to customize project control systems, monitor construction progress, and provide reports on schedule compliance. Additionally, this role involves analyzing schedule impacts, recommending corrective actions, and participating in conferences with project teams to ensure effective communication.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, incorporating various project phases and activities.
  • Monitor and document construction progress, identifying and assisting in resolving construction issues and conflicts.
  • Review and report the schedule status to the Project Manager and clients, ensuring compliance with contract specifications.
  • Perform cost and resource-loaded scheduling, gather and validate data, and incorporate it into the project schedule.
  • Prepare clear and concise scheduling/update analysis reports on a regular basis.
  • Support corporate initiatives by accumulating historical performance data for future project planning and forecasting.
  • Interface and participate in conferences with project teams, including owners, general contractors, architects/engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Adapt quickly to new environments and effectively address team needs and requirements.
  • Utilize scheduling software such as Oracle Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
  • Proficiently employ Earned Value Management System (EVMS) for effective project control.
  • Demonstrate strong time-management and communication skills.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience in construction scheduling.
  • Expertise in using Oracle Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project scheduling software.
  • Proficiency in resource loading schedules.
  • Strong time-management and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Earned Value Management System (EVMS).
  • A cost control background is a plus.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Pay will be commensurate with experience.
