About the PositionWe are seeking skilled Project Schedulers to join our team supporting a range of projects. In these roles, you will be responsible for planning and scheduling activities across various initiatives. This hands-on position provides the opportunity to directly influence project outcomes. By analyzing, monitoring, and maintaining project progress, preparing and evaluating reports, and developing solutions, you'll contribute to the successful delivery of our transit projects. This posting is for future long term, full-time, on-site positions located in the greater DC area. Responsibilities
- Review and analyze project schedules prepared by contractors, ensuring adherence to established specifications, and prepare summary reports with recommendations for approval or necessary revisions.
- Identify opportunities to optimize project timelines and recover delays by conducting scenario analyses.
- Assess claims related to project delays using established analytical principles, evaluating the merit and impact of various delay factors.
- Utilize performance management techniques to report on key indicators related to project timelines and progress.
- Implement risk management strategies related to scheduling to mitigate potential project risks.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, outlining key relationships, milestones, and constraints across various project types.
- Prepare and deliver presentations on schedule analysis and project performance.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business etc.
- A minimum of 5+ years of experience in scheduling and project management in heavy civil projects.
- Strong knowledge and experience with industry standard scheduling software.
- A strong background in construction scheduling, with the ability to manage complex projects and timelines.
- Proficiency in schedule analysis and variance reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g., excel, outlook, teams)
Preferred Qualifications
- 10+ years of public works infrastructure experience.
- Experience in transportation and transit projects.
- Experience with large, heavy civil projects ($500 million+).
- Schedule risk analysis experience (e.g., Monte Carlo Analysis, etc.)
- Expert level forensic scheduling skills, including the use of forensic scheduling software.
- Experience with Microsoft Power BI, or other dashboard KPI reporting software.
Compensation DetailsThe salary range listed for these role is $120k-$200k annually.
