**Project Scheduler**
You will have responsibilities to various programs and projects working across several key departments. Specifically with Sourcing, but also including Quality, Engineering and Operations to monitor and report the status of materials and services, purchase orders with respect to project schedules. You will be a contributing team member developing best practices in support of the business' continuous improvement efforts. You will possess problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and proven competencies with ERP systems and standard business management software (e.g.; Oracle and Microsoft Office software such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Project). Demonstrated experience and competence with project management software (e.g.; Microsoft Project and associated Gantt charts) is highly desired. Responsibilities can be expanded to include assuming planning and project management duties as needed to support the broader Program Management Office.

**Your Challenge**
+ The key responsibility of the position involves having direct and regular contact across the broad supplier base to obtain, update and maintain their component production schedules and integrate this information into the EPD project schedule
+ Responsible for all key material status tracking activities relative to EPD pump projects and integration into project schedules
+ Working with project planners, engineering, and sourcing, you will integrate material requirements from and need by dates based on production schedules and contract delivery dates
+ Alerts project teams to changes that impacts the efficient movement of materials with purchasing, quality, production, engineering, testing, and scheduling
+ Works with Project Planner to understand parts requirements for layouts (kitting) and assemblies
+ Understands the use of work orders/purchase requisitions for the production or procurement of components or parts based on a master production schedule, shop load, inventory requirements and associated routings, pick lists, and shop job packets
+ Assists management in resolving problems concerning over-shipments, shortages, engineering changes and cancellations
+ Monitors and records status-to-plan data
+ Other duties as necessary
**What You Bring**
+ Bachelor's Degree or equivalent direct experience
+ Minimum of 3 years of production, material, or project planning and/or scheduling experience
+ Prior experience working in the Defense Industry is preferred, but not required
+ Knowledge or experience with Government contracting projects preferred, but not required
+ Understanding of Supply Chain Management operational concepts surrounding planning, scheduling, purchasing, supplier selection, inventory control, and logistics
+ Having worked in project teams
+ Strategic sourcing experience/skills
+ Lean and/or Six-Sigma experience and knowledge is preferred, but not required
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and develop effective working relationships
+ Self-starter, highly motivated, action-oriented, proactive, collaborative, and results-driven
+ Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain security clearances
