We are looking for an experienced Scheduler. This role will play a vital role in the development, planning, and management of acquisition and construction projects/programs for the company's contract with Oil & Gas Clients. This role will consist of analysis duties along with scheduler duties. The ideal candidate will be someone who can take scope requirements from a contract, translate them into scheduling activities, and develop full master schedules starting from project development and controlling throughout project lifecycles. This position is part-time and temporary.

Project Controls Specialist to support Engineering, Procurement, and Construction at the client's Office.

Your responsibilities:

  • Develop schedules from scope of work & contract documents
  • Skillset to lead interactive planning sessions
  • Lead the integration of project schedule activities
  • Identify constraints and the effect on project schedule
  • Monitor, review, & report critical path and schedule performance
  • Propose mitigation or alternatives for schedule improvement to the project team
  • Responsible for leading the development & review of schedule recovery plans
  • Experience & proficient in earned value measurement planning, tracking, and forecasting
  • Experience with EVM softwares
  • Track and analyze cost; forecasting cost and expenditures
  • Track man-hours allocated to project
  • Manage change events and support the review of change orders in accordance with the client's approval process
  • Report generation for Internal and Client reporting

Your knowledge/skills, education, and experience:

Qualification/ Certification:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance or related field from an accredited university.
  • Minimum of 5 years of Onshore/Offshore Engineering /Construction Planning Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of Cost Management Experience
  • Experience with critical path method analysis/technique with Primavera
  • Effective reporting and communication skills

Skills Requirement:

  • Demonstrate proficiency with basic softwware MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, but also proficient with complex software such as Oracle Primavera P6, Acumen Fuse Risk, Cobra, Omega, Ecosys & PowerBI (preferred)

Communication:

  • Ability to communicate effectively across locations, regions and corporate to accomplish objectives.
