Job Title: Project Scheduler StaffJob Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Scheduler Staff to join our team. This role involves supporting and providing guidance on the development and analysis of project schedule deliverables. The candidate will work in a hybrid environment, with in-office presence required on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, and remote work on Mondays and Fridays. Local candidates from Columbus, OH, New Albany, and surrounding areas are preferred. There is a possibility for this position to convert to a permanent role.

Responsibilities

+ Define activities, duration, work sequences, and relationship logic to develop and implement scope of work plans.

+ Provide input and guidance to schedulers in developing fully integrated system schedules, including resource loading and leveling.

+ Develop junior schedulers by organizing schedule review meetings and incorporating appropriate details.

+ Engage teams and stakeholders to create schedules and provide schedule analysis updates, alerting them to risks and issues.

+ Direct and guide the administration of project management organizational standards.

+ Oversee the administration of security profiles and roles for new users within the scheduling system.

+ Ensure schedulers use sound techniques and best practices for schedule updates and maintenance.

+ Diagnose and resolve issues with scope of work schedules.

+ Develop junior schedulers in preparing and analyzing metric reports, schedule risks, and what-if schedules.

+ Ensure consistent application of earned value management reporting across the department.

+ Work with project teams to provide risk assessments and recommended mitigation actions.

+ Own and lead the development, review, and implementation of project schedule standard work processes.

Essential Skills

+ Minimum of 6 years of experience with Primavera P6.

+ Bachelor's degree with 8 years of qualified experience or Associate's degree with 10 years of qualified experience.

+ Qualified degrees in related fields such as Accounting, Business, Construction Management, Engineering Technology, or Project Management.

+ Scheduling experience in Transmission, Substation Construction, or Engineering preferred.

+ Experience in utility-specific operations, work processes, and procedures.

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and ability to develop complex spreadsheets.

+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.

+ Ability to manage time effectively and efficiently, with strong organizational and planning skills.

+ Self-motivated and able to work under general supervision.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Professional or trade certification such as CCMP, CETa, IQCP, PMP, RMP, etc., preferred but not required.

+ Experience in design operations, planning, project management, cost tracking, analysis, and forecasting.

+ Strong team player with the ability to collaborate well with others.

+ Capacity for accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to achieve goals.

Work Environment

This is a hybrid position requiring in-office presence on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, with remote work on Mondays and Fridays. The role may involve light physical duties at various work sites, including home and office locations, under varying conditions.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $57.32
