Position Description

Thompson Construction Group is looking for a Project Scheduler with 1-5 years of experience in project scheduling & progress measurement for industrial EPC projects. The ideal candidate will have some project scheduling experience.

This position will work directly under the Project Controls Manager.

Job Responsibilities

* Develop and maintain an engineering and construction project schedule using Oracle Primavera P6 and Microsoft Projects.

* Develop a baseline project schedule working with client Construction Coordinators, multiple engineering firms, multiple OEM vendors and Subcontractor Project Managers.

* Maintain schedule throughout the project lifecycle via feedback from the internal project team as well as input from Contractor and Vendor schedules.

* Identify critical and near-critical paths as well as trends to help project team stay on track.

Job Qualifications

* Ability to work under limited supervision

* Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint

* Excellent written and verbal communication

* Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to effectively support and work well with people from different disciplines

* Strong client-facing and internal communication skills

* Adaptability and flexibility to manage deadline pressure, ambiguity and change

* Experience working in a multicultural environment is preferred

* Must pass a drug screen and background check.
