Job OverviewThe Project Services Specialist plays a vital role in recruiting employers, matching participants to appropriate paid work experience opportunities, and evaluating participant and employer experiences to ensure program success.Job Responsibilities
- Recruit employers to participate in the work experience program by highlighting its benefits and providing program details.
- Conduct employer training sessions to prepare them to host participants and address any concerns.
- Match participants to employers based on skills, career goals, and employer requirements.
- Act as a liaison between participants and employers, resolving issues and ensuring a positive work experience.
- Monitor and evaluate participant performance in collaboration with employers, providing feedback and additional training as needed.
- Collect and analyze data related to work experience placements, generating reports to measure program effectiveness.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with community partners and employers.
- Assist participants in providing feedback on their work experience and use this data to improve program services.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, public administration, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in employer engagement, recruitment, or workforce development.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Familiarity with challenges faced by justice-involved individuals and strategies to support their workforce reintegration.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with data collection and reporting.
