Lead and Excel: Join Visions Designers- Builders Inc as a Project SuperintendentJob Title: Project SuperintendentCompany Name: Visions Designers- Builders IncSalary: $115,000- $140,000 / yrFull Job DescriptionVisions Designers- Builders Inc is seeking an experienced Project Superintendent to provide on-site coordination for all phases of commercial construction projects. This role includes coordinating subcontractors, materials, and equipment, ensuring strict adherence to specifications, and maintaining schedules and budgets. The Project Superintendent will oversee scheduling, inspections, quality control, and job site safety to deliver projects successfully.Who we are: Visions Designers-Builders, Inc. is a Central Long Island based General Contractor and Construction Manager. We are experienced in all types of commercial construction including educational, office, mixed use, golf club, industrial, multi-family, hospitality, residential and many other types of facilities. We provide preconstruction and construction management services, and all team members work in both aspects.   • Scheduling: Coordinate with the Project Manager to schedule subcontractors, consultants, and vendors in the critical path to ensure timely project completion.
  • Project Management: Collaborate with project teams to budget, forecast, and manage field personnel, including labor, equipment, materials, tools, and other cost considerations.
  • Documentation: Utilize ProCore, Outlook, and MS Excel for project management. Understand, review, and manage project plans, specifications, and manufacturer's data.
  • Quality Control: Perform quality control duties and ensure work is performed to high standards. Communicate with project teams regarding RFIs and material submittals.
  • Subcontractor Management: Ensure subcontractors are executing their scope of work fully and comply with safety, health, and environmental quality standards. Identify and address subcontractor non-compliance.
  • Inspections: Coordinate required inspections with local jurisdictions and ensure timely completion.
  • Conflict Resolution: Identify construction progress conflicts and communicate them to the project team for resolution.
  • Daily Monitoring: Maintain a daily log of jobsite activities using ProCore Software. Walk all areas on the project multiple times daily to monitor activities and assist in future planning.
  • Meetings: Preside over 15-minute daily subcontractor meetings to coordinate work. Manage the company's quality control program for the project.
  • Site Maintenance: Ensure the job site is kept clean and organized. Perform job progress and completion punch list identification and completion.

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's or Associate degree in Construction Management or related field, or a minimum of 5-8 years of progressive responsibility and experience managing mid- to large-sized commercial construction projects.
  • Proficiency in construction software such as ProCore and mobile technologies.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
