- Provide management of the day-to-day operations of the department and oversight of the work production, quantity, and quality of work completed.
- Schedules work assignments and assigns hours and work locations.

Coordinates and direct crews and equipment to complete daily task assignments. Makes adjustments to meet daily goals and maintain quality.Coordinates delivery of needed materials for project.Input project data (labor, equipment usage, materials used) into project tracking software (Cartagraph).Coordinates utility locates with utility locating services.Coordinates project activities with City personnel.Trains employees on equipment and construction methods.Conducts daily safety meetings with Precinct crews and City personnel.
