Job Description :
Required Qualifications (as evidenced by an attached resume):Bachelor's degree in Social Welfare or related fields. Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW). Preferred Qualifications:Experience in a pediatric outpatient setting. Experience with Cerner power chart. Experience working with children with autism diagnosis. Experience leading support groups. Brief Description of Duties:Provides social work services to families seen by the Early Childhood Clinic. This includes but is not limited to conducting psychosocial histories, leading first-time autism diagnosis groups, leading sibling support groups, family follow-up after initial consult, connecting families with resources such as Early Intervention, Committee for Preschool Special Education, Committee for Special Education, Office for People with Developmental Disabilities, coordinating and/or providing educational talks to ECC families, and collaborating with the team. Duties:
  • Conducting psychosocial histories
  • Leading first-time autism diagnosis groups.
  • Leading sibling support groups.
  • Family follow-up after initial consult.
  • Connecting families with resources such as Early Intervention, Committee for Preschool Special Education, Committee for Special Education, Office for People with Developmental Disabilities.
  • Coordinating and/or providing educational talks to ECC families.
  • Collaborating with the team.
  • Other duties are assigned by Project Director.
