MBL Technologies is seeking an experienced Project Task Lead to join our team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of managing large-scale programs and projects for our government client, ensuring high performance and alignment with the agency's mission. As the Project Task Lead, you will serve as the main point of contact for client requests and contractor performance. You will be responsible for leading complex programs, including overseeing multiple projects, handling intricate budgets, and ensuring successful program execution from initiation through to closure. Your role will involve translating customer requirements into actionable organizational plans, supporting business improvement projects, and applying process improvement methodologies to drive modernization tasks. This position offers a hybrid work environment but requires proximity to Washington DC for occasional on-site needs. Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the primary liaison for client requests and oversee contractor performance.
  • Manage large-scale programs, including multiple projects and complex budgets.
  • Plan, initiate, execute, and close out programs to support the agency's mission.
  • Determine customer requirements, translate them into organizational plans, and support management, organizational, and business improvement projects.
  • Apply process improvement methodologies to analyze and modernize complex projects, including modeling, identifying best practices, and creating performance measurements.
  • Lead group discussions with stakeholders and senior officials to achieve consensus on new processes or policy changes.
  • Facilitate buy-in for solutions that address significant mission issues.
  • Supervise junior personnel, lead training activities, and provide knowledge transfer to team members and government personnel.
  • Draft and review high-quality deliverables, ensuring accuracy and adherence to standards.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience managing large scale programs and projects.
  • Strong ability to translate customer requirements into actionable plans and improvements.
  • Proficient in applying process improvement methodologies and performance measurement.
  • Experienced in leading discussions and achieving consensus with stakeholders and senior officials.
  • Ability to supervise and mentor junior personnel effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience in drafting and reviewing high-quality deliverables.
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
  • PMP certification or FAC P/PM certification.
  • 8 years of relevant experience in project management, particularly with large-scale programs and complex budgets.
  • Active VA clearance required.
