Project Tutor - Troy University : Job Details

The Mc. Nair Research Tutor position is responsible for providing support for high quality research and scholarly activities with the goal of increasing graduate school admission; maintaining academic progress files on all tutored participants; and other duties as assigned by the Project Coordinator. Minimum Qualifications 1. Bachelors degree with a strong background in research/ STEM 2. Minimum of one year of tutoring experience in area of research/ STEM 3. Professional or personal experience in overcoming barriers similar to those confronting Mc. Nair-eligible students 4. Ability to effectively tutor participants and track academic progress as indicated on Academic Progress Plans Preferred Qualifications 1. Current Troy University graduate student Will this position require driving (personal vehicle, university vehicle, utility vehicle, or golf cart) in order to perform the job duties?
