Projects Officer, International Research - New York University : Job Details

The Projects Officer, International Research, is responsible for managing proposal submissions and non-financial post-award activities for a portfolio of sponsored projects related to international research, including those at NYU's Abu Dhabi and Shanghai campuses. This role involves assisting faculty and administrators in developing and submitting proposals, as well as managing awards for research projects in global network areas. The officer also supports the Assistant Director, International Research Administration, in managing the Advisors on Foreign Activities and Research (AFAR) program, which assesses risk and creates strategies to mitigate it for NYU's global research initiatives. The position includes reporting on NYU's foreign funding, including compliance with Section 117 of the Higher Education Act and the NSF Foreign Financial Disclosure Report, in collaboration with other university units.
