On-Book Prompter The Public is seeking interested individuals to serve as On-Book Prompters to assist our creative teams by following along in the script and providing lines as actors call for them. The ideal candidate will be punctual, have strong reading and recitation skills Key Responsibilities: Arrive on time for your call. Follow along with the script at all times. Provide lines when actors call for them. Skills, Experiences and Qualifications: Punctuality - please arrive on time for your calls. Attention to detail. Ability to focus solely on the script. Agility to respond when actors call for line. Follow direction. As a condition of employment, the Public will require all employees who report to work on site (either at the Public Theater or any other workspace or performing location) to receive the COVID-19 vaccine and booster. The Public will provide exceptions only for employees with an approved medical or religious exemption. Compensation: This position is compensated at a rate of $18.00 per hour.
