Proofreader (remote) - Randstad : Job Details

Are you looking to get your foot in the door with a well-established, financial institution? In this role, you will work with client facing and internal Composition teams to check the accuracy of all documents received for conversion and revision. This position is a contract role expected to last 12 months with the possibility of extension. Work hours: 4:00pm-12:00am either Sunday-Thursday OR Tuesday-Saturday, with some overtime. salary: $21.99 - $22 per hour shift: Second work hours: 4 PM - 12 AM education: Associate Responsibilities

• Perform a full quality check on various types of financial documents at the time of creation, as well as after various changes from the client, before they are filed with the SEC (Securities and Exchange Commission) and/or printed
• Compare converted documents to the original documents received from the client, ensuring that the text matches
• Proofread and verify that spelling, grammar, style, and alignment are correct and consistent throughout (including job numbers, page numbers, headings, etc.)
• Make sure all logos are correct and of the highest quality
• Mark identified changes directly on the printed PDF proof
