Candidates who bring diversity to our team are encouraged to apply. PURPOSE OF POSITION: A Senior Property Accounting Clerk at Catholic Charities:
  • Checks and verifies entry detail for accounts payable, accounts receivable/cash receipts and/or donor processing.
  • Codes regular entries for distribution to accounts.
  • Audits disbursement vouchers, debit and credit memos, donor records, etc.
  • Reviews, posts and balances subsidiary ledgers.
  • Assists in preparing, adjusting, and closing journal entries.
  • Prepares account reconciliations.
  • May coordinate the agency's vehicle donation program, assist in policy and procedure development, and/or assist the Controller or Chief Financial Officer with other special projects or miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Practical knowledge of agency accounting policy, government regulations, and tax requirements.
  • Detail oriented and organized, flexible and willing to shift priorities as needed.
  • Intermediate skills in excel and accounting software/database for entering data, creating and generating reports, and data analysis
  • Organized and able to work with little supervision.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:Salary: $21.00-$24.00/hour Full-Time, 40 hours per week. Training: We provide a robust training curriculum that will support our employees throughout their career.
