Property Maintenance Manager - Lake Santee Property Owners Association : Job Details

Provides direction for employees responsible for the upkeep of buildings and grounds owned by Lake Santee Property Owners Association (LSPOA).Oversees the repair and maintenance of equipment and machinery used for LSPOA.Responsible for modifications to structures as directed.Works with vendors and monitors inventory of supplies.Organizes work, estimates worker-hour requirements and delegates work to employees in the maintenance department.Recommends or initiates personnel actions and administrates LSPOA policy related to personnel.Specific Duties & ResponsibilitiesSupervise the maintenance team with daily direction.Oversees training activities for maintenance personnel.Keep all records including, but not limited to, equipment logs, time sheets, MSDS sheets, and other records as deemed necessary for the efficient operation of LSPOA maintenance functions.Responsible for all routine maintenance and repairs performed on LSPOA grounds, recreation areas, lake access areas, beaches, roads, trash/recycle center and any other equipment or building owned by LSPOA.Assist with water and sewer taps for the Lake Santee Regional Waste and Water District.Serve on the Building Committee as a member to understand all building requirements and approve building permits.RequirementsGeneral knowledge of Microsoft Office.Knowledge of road, drainage and bridge maintenance programs.Ability to motivate staff and resolve conflict.Ability to organize and use time effectively, and handle several significant responsibilities simultaneously.At least a High School diploma and at least three years experience in a maintenance setting is preferred for this position.The ideal candidate would also possess at least 1 year of prior supervisor experience.Intermediate level of understanding and experience in most maintenance trades: HVAC, plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry and landscaping.#J-18808-Ljbffr
