An exciting opportunity is available for a Property Manager to oversee the operations of a commercial office building in Downers Grove. We are seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate Property Manager to oversee the daily operations, tenant relations, and financial performance of a portfolio of commercial properties. You will be the key point of contact for tenants, vendors, and internal teams, ensuring that properties are maintained to the highest standards, financial goals are met, and tenant satisfaction is maximized. Ideal candidates will have 5-10 years of relevant experience, strong financial acumen, and a desire to manage a high-quality property in a suburban setting. The position offers a competitive salary of $90,000 - $110,000 (dependent on experience) and a target 10% bonus.

Key Responsibilities of the Property Manager:

  • Manage all daily operations of a a commercial office property
  • Handle all financial aspects of property management, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
  • Oversee lease administration, tenant relations, and coordination of tenant move-ins/move-outs
  • Act as the primary point of contact for tenants, ensuring excellent service and satisfaction
  • Collaborate with the asset manager and on-site engineer to ensure seamless building operations and maintenance
  • Supervise vendors and contractors, ensuring timely and quality service delivery
  • Manage building maintenance programs and capital improvement projects
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and health standards
  • Conduct regular property inspections to maintain the highest operational standards
  • Identify and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency

Requirements of the Property Manager:

  • Bachelors degree required
  • 5-10 years of experience in commercial office property management, with proven financial management skills
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
  • Capability to work independently in a one-person management office
  • Expertise in tenant relations, lease administration, and vendor management
