Compensation:$60,000
Responsibilities:As a Property Manager at Tide Property Management, you'll wear many hats, contributing directly to the success of our properties and the satisfaction of our residents. Your role will encompass a variety of critical responsibilities, including:
- Resident & Client Relations: Provide exceptional service to our residents, fostering positive relationships and ensuring high levels of satisfaction. You'll also work closely with the Client Services team to ensure the needs and expectations of property owners are consistently met.
- Retention & Performance: Focus on resident retention by implementing strategies to maintain high occupancy and minimize vacancy loss. You'll be expected to meet key performance metrics related to rent collection, lease renewals, and overall property performance.
- Vendor Management: Oversee vendor relationships to ensure timely and cost-effective services for maintenance, repairs, and other property-related needs.
- Operational Leadership: Collaborate with the on-site team to ensure seamless daily operations, from move-ins and move-outs to routine maintenance and inspections.
- Strategic Growth & Development: Be an active participant in the growth and strategic direction of Tide Property Management. You'll take part in quarterly strategy meetings and weekly ROCKS meetings to identify and drive company goals, ensuring progress and problem-solving across various teams.
- Creative Problem-Solving: Use your innovative thinking and ability to creatively solve challenges to improve processes, optimize property performance, and provide top-notch service.
- Time Management & Multitasking: Manage a variety of tasks and priorities simultaneously, ensuring all responsibilities are executed efficiently and on time.
Qualifications:We're looking for a highly motivated, self-driven individual who is ready to make a difference. Here's what you'll need to succeed in this role:
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in property management, ideally with a strong understanding of residential property operations.
- SC Property Manager License: A valid South Carolina Property Manager license is required.
- Customer-focused: Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to build lasting relationships with residents and owners.
- Proven Track Record: Experience in meeting or exceeding performance metrics related to resident retention, vacancy loss, rent collection, and overall property management success.
- Creative & Strategic Thinking: A creative problem-solver who can think outside the box to find solutions and implement strategic initiatives.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate with residents, vendors, and property owners.
- Tech-Savvy: While Appfolio experience is helpful, it is not required. Familiarity with property management software is a plus.
- Multitasking & Time Management: Ability to prioritize, stay organized, and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated: A proactive, results-oriented mindset with a strong drive to achieve goals independently.
